Perfumes and after-shave

Don’t over do it applying you scent as it is considered as cheap and uncultured to smell like a perfumery. And choose you scent well, better subtle than overpowering.

Gloves, scarves and hats

Gloves and mittens are recommended to be worn in the winter. See more in the section for greetings about gloves.

Women can wear hats indoors but men are expected to take them off when entering indoors.

Outdoor shoes

Winter-boots and special outdoor shoes are recommended during the winter-time due to the cold and sometimes wet weather.
See more in the section of visiting.

Accessorize

If you have a well combined wardrobe with clothes that are well chosen and styled and tuned in colour you can always make them different by changing the accessories. Like hats, scarves, handbags, shoes, jewellery for women and scarves, neck-ties, shoes, shirts, handkerchiefs, belts. By wearing the same outfit you still can change the outlook with another shirt and tie or another blouse and scarf to go with it.

And even the same clothes worn at work can be varied into a more going out for the night in town with the right accessories and a change of shoes into high-heel ones.
